                                                              Testimony

            I grew up in a Christian home where my mom and dad believed and took me to church every Sunday.  I also attended a Christian school where I got knowledge about who Christ was, and along with my parents this really helped me get to know who Christ was.  That is why around the age of 5 I accepted Christ as my lord and personal savior.  I went through my teenage years knowing who Christ was and trying to serve and glorify him, but often times I did not do what Christ wanted me to do with my life.  During these years I often did very bad and ungodly acts during these years.

But in the fall of 2002 I really started to feel that God was talking to me personally and during that year I decided to rededicate my life and ever since that time I have been living my life for Christ.  I felt that God was calling me to Youth Ministry one night after I spoke with the Youth here at Westport Baptist Church.  I was driving home and God began to talk to me and began to put on my heart that this is what I want you to do with the life I have giving you.  So, ever since then I have been working towards that calling, and I am thrilled to be at Westport Baptist Church and I am thrilled to be the Youth and Education Minister here. I am truly glad that God has called my wife and I to this church.
